Lifestyle Newborn Session in Miami

I’ve had the privilege of knowing the Soto family for years now. First off they are part of the Miami-Dade Fire family- Jonathan and the other half of our team have worked together for years. I was lucky enough to  photograph Ana’s beautiful bridal shower two years ago and also their adorable pregnancy announcement this winter. Now, I am so happy to capture these sweet moments with their new baby Xavier in his lifestyle newborn session. Xavier was so handsome and sweet. Throughout the entire session he never cried or complained. I was even able to capture a few sweet smiles.

This lifestyle session was extra special for several reasons. First of all, I’m a big believer in making everything simple for new parents. The first few weeks with a newborn are such a whirlwind! You deserve to have your special moments with your baby captured with ease. For this reason, I always recommend in-home lifestyle sessions. There is no rush to fit your photography session within a certain time frame. You can feed, change, cuddle and comfort your baby from your own home (no carseat struggles- yay!) at your own pace. Every family and baby is different and we want to capture what makes you special instead of making your session fit into a predesigned time frame.

This session was also so special because we were able to capture a few moments with Xavier’s grandmother and great-grandmother. The way Digna held her great-grandson was so tender and precious. You could feel the love in the room as she hugged and kissed him. I always love creating generation photos for families to cherish.
