An Afternoon with the Thomas-Watson Family

If you know me, you know I’m a big fan of adventure and everything outdoors. If you’re not getting at least a bit dirty, then you’re not doing something right. This especially rings true with my lifestyle family photography sessions. I have been known to suggest a few “interesting” locations now and then. But when you see that stunning view with the golden afternoon light, can you blame me?

With the Thomas-Watson family I wanted to capture the huge personality of their daughter, Mackenzie. She has such a fun, outgoing spirit and she kept me on my toes. We spent the afternoon laughing, catching “lions” in the grass and investigating new plants in the park.  Oh, and there was dancing. Lots and lots of dancing. She is definately my type of girl. Mackenzie loved getting her “close ups” at the end of her family session and struck a few fun poses for us.
