Mountain Adventures with the Tomkins Family
When I was sixteen I had the pleasure of meeting Rob and Heather at a little hole-in-the-wall music venue that ended up becoming our second home. There were many late night adventures and laughs. Throughout the years we’ve all grown in different directions but I was so thrilled to document a lifestyle family session for them on Grandfather Mountain to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary. It’s hard to believe that the years have flown by so fast but their two rambunctious boys were so much fun. I’m always excited about a chance to travel out of our usual South Florida locations and the mountains of North Carolina will always be one of my favorite spots.
Our mountain adventure began on the trail at the bottom of Grandfather Mountain in Linville, North Carolina before we headed to the top for more scenic views. The greenery and grass was beautiful and Heather looked stunning in her peach dress that is part of our new Aurora Photography Wardrobe Collection.
