When I first started my journey as a professional photographer (and not just shooting thousands of images of my own family) my goal was to preserve something genuine and beautiful for every client. I love the everyday interactions of a mother and her children. There is something so beautiful about a woman’s genuine love, affection, and dedication. I decided in the beginning that I wanted my images to be real. Authentic. Genuine. My first goal was to capture this connection. This motherhood portrait session with Kamely and her beautiful daughter, Kamila took place at Tree Tops Park in Broward County which is currently one of my favorite locations in South Florida. The beautiful paths and hardwood trees made a perfect backdrop for their portraits.

We were able to capture some sweet moments between this mother, daughter duo and celebrate Kamila’s first birthday. Finally, we celebrated Kamely’s huge achievement of breastfeeding her daughter for 12 months! This amount of love and dedication should always be celebrated and cherished.
