When Heather contacted my to document their growing family during a lifestyle photography session, I couldn’t wait to capture their bond. Little miss Sophia was a ball of energy and had the sweetest relationship with her parents. She was so excited to become a big sister and she had the best, silliest personality. She was one of my favorite toddlers of the year with her stories about dinosaurs, magic eggs and talking flowers. Getting smiles and silly faces out of this girl was easy and fun and she was usually the one making us laugh. Heather looked stunning in her lace, white dress. The location, Matheson Hammock Park provided the perfect dreamy backdrop with it’s acres of trees covered in Spanish Moss. Out of all of the beautiful locations in South Florida for a lifestyle family photography session, Matheson Hammock Park will always be one of my favorites.
We started our afternoon lifestyle family session by the lagoon which provided beautiful afternoon sunlight. The family took a stroll along the water and Sophia told me that her little brother was going to be named Liam.
After our stroll by the water we headed to the front of the park where the trees are gorgeous!
During their reveal session the family chose a beautiful glass, heirloom box to showcase their memories from the day. The hand crafted box contained 75 metallic, heirloom prints of their favorite images in color and black and white. You can also customize your box by having it engraved or mounting your pictures to a durable, thick backing to extend their years of use.
